A few words from the owner:

“One of RUF’s creations for the connoisseurs. This particular 1969 911E was originally manufactured by Porsche with thin gauge lightweight steel. This “period correct” build was inspired by the factory works Porsche 911’s competing in period at places such as the Nürburgring Marathon de la Route and Rallye Monte Carlo. The 2.8L “twin-plug” motor was built for reliability, lots of torque and all round usability. It is incredibly powerful and fast. The matching number 901 gearbox is set up with a 904 main shaft, close ratio gear set, short shift kit and limited slip. It is perfectly matched to the motor. Stefan Roser commented while driving the car, “This is the best, smoothest and quickest 901 gearbox that I have ever experienced!”Together with the lightweight chassis (890KG) and the chassis setup, it is exhilarating to drive! It will put a smile on your face! Perfect for rallys, tours or vintage racing. Restored and built to RUF’s concours level from the bare body shell up by the best. This car is perfection in every detail.”
